Steel Magnolias

A comedy/drama by Robert Harling, directed by Vonnie Goss, produced by arrangement with Dramatists Play Service

Six strong Southern women are the "Steel Magnolias" of the title.  They come from different backgrounds, but all are caring ladies whose world centers around Truvy's beauty shop. Their lives, good, bad, or tragic are open books in their small Louisiana hometown.

Performance Schedule

March 25, 26, 27, & April 1, 2, 3

Reservations recommended for Friday & Saturday performances, curtain rises at 7:30 PM sharp.  Reservations not necessary for Sunday performances, curtain rises at 2 PM sharp.

General Admission: Adults:  $10.00
Full-Time Students:  $7.00
Group rate for 10 or more:  Call to reserve enough room.

Casting Call

The next production will be Leading Ladies, directed by Frank Schlatter.  The director is looking for five men and three women for this production.  Casting will be held at the RCLT on April 4th & 5th at 7 PM.  Performance dates for Leading Ladies are May 27, 28, 29 & June 3, 4, 5.

Membership in RCLT

Volunteers who provide some service to the theatre for at least one performance, are eligible for membership.  Opportunities to serve abound … assist in the lobby, work behind the scenes, get on stage.  We always need costume and set dressing help, learn how to run the light or build the set.  It’s fun and educational.  General membership meetings are held at the theater, 7:30 pm, on the first Tuesday of each month, excluding July and August.  If you have purchased a Season Ticket or Preferred Seating you are already a member so come and have your say at the next meeting.  Call 622-1982 for more information.  Annual Dues are $5.00.
