Sage Ridge School is Reno's only non-sectarian, coeducational, college preparatory day school dedicated to diversity, service, and academic excellence. Sage Ridge School is a fully accredited member of the Pacific Northwest Association of Independent Schools (PNAIS).

In 1996, community leaders, parents, and educators came together with a vision to augment the area’s educational opportunities by providing the first non-sectarian, independent college preparatory day school. The School opened its doors in 1998 to an enrollment of 99 students in grades six through eight. A high school was added and in 2003 Sage Ridge School graduated its first class. The School now offers grades five through twelve with a present enrollment of 238 students.
