Mrs. Myers' Reading Room is an energetic, after school reading program for children 5 to 12 years old. We build on
traditional methods, using today's technology along with physical movement to make reading fun.

Mission

Successful Readers Become Successful People

We give children the confidence to succeed through our dynamic program producing a strong ability and desire to read.

Classes

Each session is 9 weeks long
2 classes per week
50 min. per class
After school hours from 3pm-7:30pm

Program

Small group setting (4-7 children per class)
Curriculum is language based
Customized curriculum based on group dynamics
Through Seeing (Visual), Hearing (Auditory), Sense of Touch (Tactile) and Laughing (Heart), we create a fun learning environment
Manipulatives (blocks, play dough, clay, felt letters, writing, etc.) to help reinforce words and phrases taught
Children create their own storybooks
Physical movement, laughing and having fun while learning
