In 1967, Jerry Steele founded the ever  popular Jerry’s Pawn and Gun Shop.  Over the next 44 years the business has flourished and has become one of  North Central Florida’s largest weapons dealers while also providing a wide variety of equipment and hunting supplies. In 1984, Jerry’s Pawn and Gun Shop relocated to its present location and added on to the building so as to keep up with the continuous growth of the business. After 4 decades of service to Ocala and Marion County, Jerry Steele and co-owner Kevin Thompson still remain committed to treating customers with respect and adhering to their policy of honesty and helping those in need.

SERVICES PROVIDED:

JEWELRY

We have a large selection of jewelry available.  We also have a Layaway Plan available where you pay 25% down and then you have 90 days in which to pay the balance off.

Pawns are handled the same by all dealers statewide.  There is 25% interest charged and you have 30 days before the interest is due.

FOOTWEAR

We carry Rain Boots, "Muckin" Boots, Officer Boots, Realtree Men's Flip Flops, Boot Insulators, Work Boots, Dress Oxfords, Snake Chaps and Waterproof Huntin Boots.  So Come Check them out!!!

Our Layaway Program has the same terms as the Jewelry Layaway Program:  25% down with 90 days to pay off the balance.

FOR THOSE OF WHO HAVE BOUGHT GUNS  IN THE PAST, YOU KNOW THE DRILL , BUT FOR OUR NEWBIES TO THE GUN WORLD , PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING:  WHEN BUYING A HAND GUN YOU MUST WAIT 3 DAYS BEFORE YOU CAN TAKE IT HOME UNLESS YOU HAVE A C.W.P ( CONCEALED WEAPONS PERMIT).  LONG GUNS CAN BE TAKEN HOME THE SAME DAY AS THE PURCHASE.

We offer Concealed Weapons Permit Classes here at the store.  Come by the store and pick up a CWP Package and get details concerning the classes.  The cost of the class is $60.00 and is taught by Otto, a retired Captain of the Sheriff's Dept.  The classroom portion of the class takes 4 1/2 hours and you can take whatever time is needed to complete the shooting portion of the class.

We carry and sell just about any type of ammunition available today on the market: Remington, CCI, Winchester, American Eagle, Wolf, Blazer, Hornady, Federal, etc.  But if we don't have in stock what you need, then we can always order it for you!
