Like all reputable licensed assisted living facilities (ALF), Camelot Chateau has sought to meet and exceed State ALF guidelines. In 2006 when we changed ownership, the State of Florida conducted a routine evaluation of Camelot Chateau to assure us and you that we are providing the best possible service to our residents. The State determined we were in compliance with the applicable Florida Statutes and found no deficiencies in our facilities.

Our services and amenities at Camelot Chateau include weekly housekeeping and laundering of your flat linens, daily transportation excursions to local points of interest, chef-prepared meals in our beautiful dining room, and complete maintenance of your apartment and grounds.

Assisted Living Services

Camelot Chateau believes in delivering superior services to our residents at a fraction of the cost of hiring a private duty aide. We offer services to our residents as defined by our state licensure with areas known as “Activities of Daily Living.” Our residents’ dignity is our top concern.

We offer the finest personal care available to our residents in the following areas:

• Medication Management including storing, ordering, and reminders to take medication
• Bathing
• Dressing and Grooming
• Toileting

We personalize a plan of care for each resident who participates in our Assisted Living Program. After an assessment, one of the three levels of service will be assigned, Levels I, II or III, to participating resident who will be billed monthly.

We will gladly perform an assessment free of charge to help determine your exact monthly rate.

Our rolling hills and majestic tree-lined scenic country roads are a surprise to many first time visitors. Within this setting, Camelot Chateau presents an 80-unit assisted living community with an open, casually elegant atmosphere. Our residents have plenty of places to gather with friends in one of a number of common areas, including our chapel, library, craft room, or large living room. Despite its rural atmosphere, Camelot Chateau is anything but isolated from the conveniences of urban living, including a variety of quality health care. Three major hospitals, the Centers, a multi-service county health system, and numerous public and private clinics and specialties serve the region. Marion County's healthcare facilities are state of the art. More than 350 licensed physicians have hospital privileges at Munroe Regional Medical Center and/or Ocala Regional Medical Center and/or West Marion Community Hospital. The availability of medical specialties has kept pace with the county's growth and in terms of expertise and technology represents the finest and most up-to-date medical care.
