Beeline Development, Inc. is a family owned, self performing trade contractor based in Ocala which has constructed buildings from Key West to Hawaii. Scott Sumner is the principle owner and general contractor for the firm. Scott Sumner and Beeline Development, Inc. have been in continuous operation for 30 years and have enjoyed working with hundreds of satisfied customers in all areas of development. We are a State Certified General Contractor and specialize in developing throughout the Southeastern United States.

Our principle business comes from repeat customers and referrals. With this in mind, our mission has been to provide excellent and responsive service that not only provides the needed construction elements for each project, but ensures that each project will contribute to the overall success of the customer’s business.

Beeline Development, Inc. maintains a full line of tradesmen and equipment in-house for better control and response times. We can handle all of your needs including design and coordination of the Architectural and Engineering issues, permitting, full site development, environmental assessment, building erection, procurement, electrical and plumbing.

We are not only a construction firm, but we also participate in the ownership of dozens of commercial projects. This affords us a unique insight into both sides of constructing and operating successful projects and businesses. We understand your challenges.

Beeline Development, Inc. was building green before it became so popular. Our belief was if we could save our clients on their monthly utilities by adding better insulation or a low flow urinal, we would increase their bottom line. With a larger profit from smaller reoccurring bills, they would have the opportunity to expand quicker, giving us a happy repeat costumer. Services Available

General Contractor: As a State Certified General Contractor, we are able to oversee the building of any size project. From a simple 1000 sq. ft. warehouse to multi story retail buildings.

Certified Electrical: As a State Certified Electrical Contractor, we have the ability to design up to an 800 amp system and are licensed to install any size electrical system.

Certified Plumbing: As a State Certified Plumbing Contractor, we can install septic tanks or tap into existing sewer systems, including force mains. Not to mention we set bathroom fixtures.

Certified Mechanical: As a State Certified Mechanical Contractor, we install heating and air conditioning systems. Including climate controlled automotive repair garages.

Pollutant Storage: As a State Certified Pollutant Storage System Contactor, we remove and install complete petroleum fueling systems of all sizes.

Leed AP: We now have two LEED AP on Staff.
