Expressly Leslie's offers 12 different home-made

vegetarian salads and 3 different soups -- every day!

Known for their Falafel -- which is made fresh daily -- the traditional middle eastern sandwich contains three Falafel balls, dropped onto a bed of hummus and topped with Jerusalem Salad (a traditional mix of tomatoes, cucumbers, onion, sweet pepper and lots of cilantro), and then dressed with home-made Tahina dressing, all bedded into a whole wheat pita pocket. Other popular sandwiches include: Hummus and Spicy Olives; Moroccan Eggplant, Hummus & Creamy Cucumber Salad; and the Moroccan Shakshouka Pocket.

Expressly Leslie's also serves traditional middle eastern breakfast fare such as the "Israeli Breakfast" of hard boiled eggs with cumin, Jerusalem Salad, Foule (a mixture of fava beans in a savory sauce), Labneh (a garlic yogurt spread), and warm, whole wheat pita bread. The "Grateful Pig" includes two eggs poached in Matboukha (Moroccan Salsa), sautéed sweet potatoes, Labneh and warm pita bread on the side.

Three different kinds of home-made soup are offered daily including Red Lentil Soup and Vegetarian Chili. All soups come with warm bread on the side. Sampler Plates of the salads include the Moroccan Sampler of 5-6 of the zestier salads, and the Israeli Sampler containing up to 7 of the creamier salads. The Full Sampler Plate includes every salad available, along with two Falafel balls.
