Southlake Boulevard Presbyterian Church has always looked for ways to expand its ministry and outreach. In 2004, it began a Small Group Ministry called C.O.R.E. Groups (now called Growth Groups). In 2005, the church added a Certified Christian Educator, Lisa Reece, to its staff to help further develop the church's outreach through education. In 2008, the church offered its first Upward Basketball and Cheerleading Sports season for children K through sixth grade. 

In keeping with its plans for expansion, SBPC completed the construction of a new mission building in March 2010. The building adds a beautiful entry hall with stained glass, activity rooms for elementary children, rooms for youth ministry, a theatre, and new offices.
