Cook Land Services was started in 1991 by David Cook, a licensed Maine Professional Land Surveyor.  While most of our work is in Washington and Penobscot counties, we provide surveying services to all of Down East and Central Maine:  from Bangor to Calais, Lincoln to Eastport, Machias to Vanceboro.  We also travel as far northwest as Moosehead Lake and Jackman.  You can reach us at (207) 732-4650 or fax your deed and other information like maps or old surveys to the same number.  You could also write us at DCook.survey@gmail.com

If you are not familiar with the process of land surveying and aren't sure exactly what to ask for Cook Land Services is always happy to answer questions about surveying.  There is no charge for your first call, so please feel free to call us about any issues you are concerned about.  We will be glad to spend the time talking to you and hopefully provide the information you need to determine:

  • If you really need a complete boundary survey or can you get by with something less?
  • What kind of information should you gather to help a surveyor provide a detailed estimate?
  • How much will a survey cost and how long will it take?

David Cook, has completed almost all of the timberland surveys on Georgia Pacific land in Maine since he was licensed in 1989.  As a result, most of our referrals are for projects in Washington County and other parts of DownEast Maine.  But we also survey in four other counties: Southern Aroostook, Penobscot, Piscataquis and Somerset.

Our many repeat customers value the fact that unlike some larger firms, a licensed professional land surveyor works on each project from field to finish.  We believe our slogan says it all.
