We are Orange County's best climbing gym with 12,000 square feet of sculpted climbing terrain.  Topropes with lots of varying angles, a large lead are with an arch, and 1/3 of the gym dedicated to bouldering.  Costa Mesa Rockreation has a separate workout area with machines, traditional weights, and cardio equipment.  Friendly staff provide a fun environment that combines with a range of climbs to create a great environmnt for the beginner or the expert and those who fall in between.

Take the Fight Gravity Series (FG1, FG2, FG3):

• FG1 Experience the excitement of climbing and learn the basic safety skills to climb roped in the gym.  You will do plenty of climbing and acquire the skills you need to pass the Rockreation top rope safety test.   *Includes a FREE one week Rockreation Membership, plus FREE rental equipment.
• FG2 This class will make you a better climber in two fun filled hours.  You’ll learn how to make accurate contact with the rock, and you’ll also learn how to climb in a much more relaxed and efficient manner.
• FG3 We’ll build on the skills you learned in FG2.  We’ll explore balance and your body’s relation to the wall.  We will also touch on dynamic vs. static movement, and do some climbing in the boulder area. 
   
  Continuing Your Climbing Education
  Lead Climbing Class – Get on the sharp end of the rope!  This class will teach you how to lead climb in the gym.  You will learn how to belay a lead climber, how to catch and take falls, how to clip efficiently, and much more!  Explore the mental and physical challenges lead climbing has to offer and take your climbing to the next level.

PRIVATE INSTRUCTION – Climbing instruction for all ages and abilities.  Any of our group Fight Gravity classes can be taken privately, or we can customize a class to fit your needs.

PERSONAL COACHING – Refine your climbing skills n a series of intense ono-on-one climbing session with Rockreation’s expert instructors.
