We all at Great Mex Grill are very proud and humbled by the support and encouragement of our local coastal communities like Costa Mesa. We are so fond and thankful of our humble beginnings in the cozy village of Balboa where we remain today in its original location next to the Balboa Theater which is currently under rennovation and re-birth as a community mixed-media, performing arts venue by the Balboa Performing Arts Theater Foundation. We next opened the Costa Mesa store on 'old' Newport Blvd followed by the Long Beach store and by popular demand our second Costa Mesa location in the 'Mesa Verde' area off Harbor Blvd. Our thanks go out to all our loyal patrons, and we promise to continue our committment to high quality Mexican food and excellent customer service.

Great Mex has enjoyed whetting the appetites of both loyal locals and visitors from literally all over the world. Our customers are seeking a different experience from fast-food in terms of service and quality, but at a better price point than what most casual dining offers. "People are seeking the best in quality and more specialized offerings. They want their products quickly, with premium service, and often take it to go." explains Great Mex Grill's owner, Alonzo Bautista.
