The Great Boars Of Fire lodge is ideal for any special occasion.  This beautiful banquet facility is nestled in the Shawnee National Forest of Southern Illinois.  Located on Kratzinger Hollow Road of Union County, We are proud to say we are within 10-20 miles of most of the areas local wineries and vineyards.

 

The outside of our lodge is naturally surrounded by trees.  We have enhanced the beauty of our front walkway with a unique copper Fountain handmade by local artist "Rainmaker".  The rustic appearance of The Lodge is carried over once you enter, but with more style and class.  Our wood finished vaulted ceiling is complimented by marble tiled flooring.  Our main room seats 300 people comfortably.  As part of our complete catering service, our main room has a full service bar.  The beautiful hand made solid oak bar is overlooked by a balcony.

The Boars Nest, as we call it, is our upper level with adjoining rooms.  With a balcony over looking the main room, the two rooms are perfect for parties from 10 to 100 people.  This cozy atmosphere welcomes you with hand painted faux finishes and a dark mahogany bar designed by local artist Jessie Wright.
