Trails End Lodge

A little out of the way, but worth the trip

Wausau's hidden treasure, the Trail's End Lodge is located at the end of Sherman St on the banks of the little Rib River. In a historic turn of the century building, the Trail's End got it's start as the Bentz Resort in 1920. Since that time, the place has been operated by only three different owners. Come and find out why the locals make the trip. Burgers, sandwiches, pizza, and a full fish fry menu is served every day of the week. 

Fishing on Lake Wausau? Trail's End is one of the few places you can tie off your boat for a break from the lake. Head up the Little Rib River from the McCleary bridge and follow the signs to the Trail's End. Start your adventure at the lodge, a free public boat landing is also available.

Hold your next party at the Trail's End. Their banquet facility is perfect for parties, get-togethers, and anniversaries. For groups 10 - 150, the Trails end is a perfect location for your next event.
