To make Metropolis the stylish upscale salon it is today required a major renovation of an 1896 historic building in downtown Visalia, California. Substantial work was done both inside and outside with floor to ceiling windows that make excellent use of the northern light which illuminate the salon. Incorporating a touch of art deco in the modern decor, the 2,150-square-foot salon is designed with the client in mind. Everything from the styling stations, semi-private washing bowls and dryer area, newly added manicure and pedicure studio, to the lighting and color scheme of aborigine, cornsilk and sage all contributes to the relaxing atmosphere at Metropolis Salon.
