Nancy's interest in textiles started at a very young age.

Nancy Nelson is a native Californian. Born in the San Fernando Valley, she grew up in Huntington Beach and raised a daughter in the beautiful South Bay beach cities.

Her interest in textiles started at a very young age with sewing clothing and then evolved into home furnishings. She started sewing bedding and pillows for friends and family while working as a flight attendant.

In 1998 she started designing, manufacturing and selling pillows in a local home furnishings store and it was just a matter of time before she discovered window treatments which has become her signature area. Nancy's business grew from the many referrals from satisfied clients and in 2006 she moved her business from her home to a beautiful showroom and workroom located in Carson California. STITCH window wear was born and her new career began. Nancy retired from the airlines in 2009.
