Harambee is a center for community development located at 316 S. 3rd St in Downtown Renton. Our name is a Swahili word that means “together pushing forward,” which in many African cultures is a rally cry: “Let’s come together to accomplish something great for the community”, and embodies our vision of a diverse community working together for the betterment of all through love and service to the city and its people.

Harambee is the home to several non-profit organizations, and is available for bookings. The regularly scheduled events that occur on a weekly basis are as follows:

• CryOut! After School Program: Monday-Friday, 2:00-5:30pm when school is in session
• Soma Renton: Sunday Gatherings at 10am weekly
• Bridge of Grace Church: Sunday Gatherings at 4:30 weekly
• Imago Dei Church: Sunday Gatherings at 12:34pm weekly
• The Refuge: Homeless meal/ministry, Saturday from 4-6pm weekly
• Cultivate Open Mic: Every last Friday of the month
