The emphasis is on rustic, flavorful, wood-fired cooking over a blend of fruitwoods, oak and grape vine cuttings. The menu features an offering of small plates, wood grilled flatbreads, seafood specialties, and grilled steaks and chops. The aromas from the open kitchen fill the restaurant as Laguna’s original martini and wine bar offers a variety of proprietary hand-shaken martinis along with an extensive offering of wines by the glass and small-batch microbrews. The airy, high ceilinged building features ground floor and balcony dining, a private wine room, casual high-top fireside tables, and counter seating at the exhibition kitchen. Sorrento is open nightly from 5:00 pm.
