The First Tee Greenville's mission is to partner with today's youth by using the game of golf as a vehicle and incorporating life skills to help develop tomorrow's leaders.  The First Tee has some 200 chapters across the United States and uses the core values of courtesy, respect, sportsmanship, perseverance, honesty, integrity, confidence, responsibility and judgement.

Greenville's Jay Haas hosts the annual First Tee Pro-Am. Participating golfers have included Rocco Mediate, Larry Mize, Jeff Sluman, Scott Stallings, Kyle Thompson, and Matt Bettencourt.
