The Graham Gear Story

Graham Gear began when a friend asked for a fillet knife holder that was made out of heavy duty canvas. It was then taken to a local tackle shop where the owner was curious to see if different styles of lure bags could be made. After research to find the right materials and experimenting with different closures, etc., a product line was designed to help keep a variety of fishing gear organized and protected. Thought went into making the bags easy to use, store and carry. Custom requests resulted in additional sizes and styles of bags. This line of tackle totes has been sold in tackle shops throughout New England.

Then various family members began requesting other types of bags or totes such as: boat totes, cargo totes, swim totes, bridle totes, etc., etc. These totes have traveled to CA, NJ, MA, FL, NC, Sweden, and further. Much friendly and helpful feedback has been given, resulting in many adjustments to shapes, materials, closures, handles and more.

As a result of all this experience, Graham Gear is now producing Custom Canvas for all things ashore, afloat, and on the go.  All products are handmade in Maine.
