Lite-N-Up EATERY

Lite-n-Up Eatery does not only smell like your mother’s kitchen but the familiar, friendly, relaxed and comfortable environment will make you feel ‘at home’ in no time. With the vision of recreating a meeting place of her past, Susan King has provided Granby with a beloved space to meet with old and new friends. 

Lite-N-Up is home to a variety of regular clients ranging from ladies having coffee to business men meeting for lunch or families enjoying time together. It is also a safe nurturing space for students to just ‘hang out’. Susan first opened for businesses in Sept, 1990 and has been going strong ever since. She started by herself with her mom helping out a few days a week to prep food and her dad assisting with the buying of goods.  

She prepares everything from scratch on the premises with no preservatives added. Her food includes a familiar variety focusing on what is healthy for you using only the freshest ingredients. She also has a few not so familiar 'concoctions' she gathered from her travelling experiences visiting coffee houses and eateries all over the world.  

Susan is a member of the Granby Chamber of Commerce, eagerly involved with the Lions club and has enjoyed mentoring High school students in the past.
