We eat here often. The food is excellent, and there is also a variety to choose from. They make the best loaded potato skins appetizers. Their soups are really good too. They also have great desserts.

This is a great family restaurant with friendly waitstaff, a huge menu, low prices and ample portions. My favorites are their French dip sandwiches and pork tenderloins. My wife prefers the salmon. Hickory Garden Restaurant handles groups well, pushing together a few tables in the main dining room or using their large banquet room. I meet some old co-workers here regularly and all leave satisfied.

Off the tourist trail in the northwest part of town, it is across the street from the Handicapped Development Center and handy to the Fairmount Street Library and the Kimberly Road Wal-Mart.

Currently on Mondays, kids 10 years and younger eat free from the kids' menu.
