Scotty's Smokehouse was founded September 18th 2008 by Scott Miller, a bar-b-que connoisseur. I have enjoyed cooking since I was knee high. One of my biggest passions has always been cooking good food and putting a smile on peoples faces. I began Scotty’s Smokehouse as a side project. April 23rd, 2009 it became more than that. I was laid off from my previous job as a graphic artist. Possibly a blessing in disguise, Scotty’s Smokehouse has become my job and I have high hopes to take it to the next level. I am a food vendor and also cater small or large parties. My ultimate goal and dream is to turn Scotty’s Smokehouse into a restaurant and have my own place. I could not continue to pursue growing Scotty’s Smokehouse without the help and endless support of my beautiful wife and daughter, family, and friends. 



SCOTTY'S SMOKEHOUSE STYLE:
Our bar-b-que is slowly cooked to perfection for many hours on a pit. It is pulled real pit bar-b-que, not chopped. We only use baby back ribs and we baste them with our home made rubs and sauces. We have a hot and mild southern style tomato base sauce along with a North Carolina style vinegar based sauce. Our beans, slaw, and potato salad are also all Scotty’s Smokehouse home made recipes.
