Our goal at Mauer Home School is providing quality childcare is to ensure that each child:

            A safe, nurturing, and versatile learning environment. Learning is not necessarily the ABC's and 123's, but is also the learning of values as well as social and behavioral skills. The learning of honesty, respect, confidence, self-reliance, and self-discipline. Since children sometimes need discipline, it is important that we share a similar philosophy so that your child is not confused as to where the boundaries are at home or here at MHS. Children are taught which behaviors are inappropriate, why they are inappropriate, and given alternatives that are acceptable. Your child will always be given a choice on how to handle behavioral actions. Unconditional love is also extremely important. This kind of love helps with every child's self esteem and self worth, which in part helps their own development. Communication is key to a successful childcare arrangement. The parents and the provider need to have a good working relationship so that they can work together and communicate for the best outcome for the child.

WHAT WE'VE ACHIEVED: 

Nicole Mauer started this daycare back in January of 2013. She has 4 kids and knows the struggles of finding a daycare that had quality and affordability. There weren't many viable options in Racine that met her expectations for her children. Nichole wanted to open her own center to help the families in Racine. She structured her Daycare around quality and affordability. Throughout the past 3 years she has tripiled in size but has maintained her expectations. The future looks very bright and we will strive to continuously better ourselves for the best care for your children.
