Exceeding Customer Expectations!
We, at Armstrong Garden Centers, take pride in inspiring our community by offering superior knowledge, quality and selection in a friendly, caring environment. We are committed to our customer’s gardening success.
All plants are not created equal! The way a plant is raised in its earliest stages determines how it will do in your garden. If a plant’s tag says “Armstrong Grown”, that plant was grown in one of Armstrong Growers three California growing facilities, is hand-selected for your neighborhood, has been thoroughly tested and grown to the highest industry standards.
Larger, Healthier Plants
Armstrong Growers tests and selects the most beneficial container for each plant it sells. Saving money in plant production is not important—your success is! The most important part of a plant is something you don’t see—its roots. So Armstrong chooses pots and containers that allow plants to develop large root systems for healthy growth and instant gratification. Our 6-pack is twice the size of box store packs! Additionally, our plants are grown larger. That means you get a well-established plant that won’t struggle at transplanting.
Locally Grown—No Need to Acclimate
Because Armstrong grows its own plants in one of three local facilities, there is no plant shock from arriving from a different climate. Plants are “hardened off”, a horticultural term that means they’re already acclimatized to typical garden environments.
Faster Growth
Since Armstrong Grown plants are acclimated, have larger root systems, and are more mature plants, they never suffer from transplant shock. They “hit the ground running”, so to speak, with fast growth, giving you fast growth, and quicker satisfaction.
Hand-Selected for Your Local Neighborhood
Armstrong Growers tests and re-tests all the plants we grow. We will never sell you a plant that’s not right for your neighborhood. That’s important in California, where there are numerous microclimates. If a particular plant variety will do better in your area, that’s the one we sell in your area.
