Mavericks Roasting Co. LLC was founded in November 2002 and opened shop in April 2003. The idea of Mavericks came from wanting to have a coffee roasting company that was different, against the grain, a "Maverick" if you will. Now, with well over 18,000 roasts under our belt, Mavericks coffee has been shipped around the country, to different parts of the world, and even to our troops in the Middle East. Our coffee is currently being served in numerous coffee shops, businesses, grocery stores, and many homes in the Central Valley and throughout the United States. Mavericks coffee has built a reputation not just in the Valley but wherever it is enjoyed as being "Possibly the World's Best Coffee." The roasting technique used and created by owner/founder Jordan Brown, the attention to detail, and Mavericks attention to freshness is what sets us apart.

At Mavericks, we also pride ourselves on making the best coffee drinks as well. From mochas to lattes to chai to tea we always strive to be the best. This, too, is achieved by experience, knowledge, and the use of quality products from the chocolates and syrups we use to the technique in creating incredible drinks. Mavericks also has a variety of snacks to  select from, such as specially baked quiches, bagels, fresh fruit, muffins, scones, and cookies, among other items.

The coffee house décor includes several vintage  Cowboy Movie posters, saddles and an extensive collection of original autographed photos of Silver Screen Cowboy Heroes from William S. Hart and Tom Mix to Clint Eastwood and Kevin Costner. You might also catch an old Hoppy movie or a John Wayne western film playing on the TV.

In addition, Mavericks has a national reputation of hosting live Western Music concerts as well as Cowboy Poetry.  Over the 10 year period that the shop has been opened, we've had the likes of top quality performers such as: Michael Martin Murphey, Ian Tyson, Don Edwards, Sons of the San Joaquin, Tom Russell, Dave Stamey, Hot Club of Cowtown, Waddie Mitchell, The Quebe Sisters, Juni Fisher, RW Hampton, Belinda Gail, and Cowbop, among others, entertain our guests in an up close, intimate setting.
